I work with leadership teams that look fine on the surface — and are quietly stuck underneath.
The meetings happen. The updates get shared.
But the real conversations? They're not in the room.
I help leadership teams in transition — M&A, new strategy, fast growth, restructuring — rebuild the trust, alignment, and honest dialogue they need to move forward together. Not just move faster.
What I see in organisations
New strategies land. Restructurings happen.
Growth accelerates. AI changes the rules.
On the surface, everyone adjusts.
But underneath — silos form. Decisions slow down.
People stop saying what they actually think. Energy drains into politics, workarounds, and polite avoidance.
Most organisations don't have a culture problem. They have a coherence problem — and it usually lives inside the leadership team.
What teams need most in those moments is not another initiative.
It's someone who can stay in the room with what's real — and help them find their way through it together.
What the research says
about your hidden cost

the flight risk.
When psychological safety is low, 12% of employees plan to quit — compared to just 3% when it's high.
BCG ResearchWhat we build in leadership teams
Trust
The kind that lets people say "I don't know" or "I disagree" without calculating the cost. We create the conditions for honest conversations that teams usually avoid — because that's where the real work begins.
Alignment
Not agreement for its own sake — clarity. On priorities, on roles, on how decisions get made. When everyone is pulling in the same direction, execution speeds up and friction drops.
Connection
The difference between a group of individuals and a team that actually functions as one. We break silos, rebuild relationships, and help people feel part of a genuine "we" — not just a reporting line.
Two ways we can work together
Leadership & Team Coaching
Tailored coaching for leadership teams and critical teams navigating transition — M&A, new strategy, fast growth, or persistent misalignment. Every engagement starts with a diagnostic, adapts to your reality, and builds the trust and clarity your team needs to lead what comes next.
Whether it's a focused 6-8 week engagement or a deeper multi-month journey, the work is grounded in your real challenges — not a template.
Speaking & Facilitation
Keynotes, interactive sessions, leadership offsites, and facilitated conversations on trust, culture, and leading through transition. Designed to open honest dialogue, shift perspectives, and leave people thinking differently about what's possible.
From the work.
Case title: Breaking Silos After an M&A
A mid-sized financial services company had merged multiple teams — but 60 middle managers were still operating in silos. Leadership training hadn't stuck. Social events hadn't translated into collaboration. Blame was spreading.
Over 6 months, we moved them from polite distance to honest dialogue, co-created cross-functional solutions, and built a shared sense of ownership that leadership could see in how teams actually worked together.
“We can now just pick up the phone to ask for help or advice from colleagues in other departments.”
Why work with Elli
I spent 20 years inside the problem I now solve.
At Deloitte, advising organisations on culture and leadership. Then as EMEA HR and Development Manager, going inside the system — living the pressure of delivering results across borders and learning what leaders carry that they never say out loud.
Then at EY, leading a consulting business unit — returning to consulting with the depth of someone who'd been on the other side, and advising clients on the very dynamics I was experiencing within my own leadership team.
I know what it's like to be the leader who has to deliver while the team around you is misaligned. I've carried that weight — including through years of managing a chronic health condition inside work cultures that weren't built for it. That's not backstory. It's what trained my eye.
What this means for you…
Today, through my own consultancy, I bring an unusual combination into every engagement: deep organisational expertise from both sides of the table — as a consultant and as a leader who's had to deliver — the ability to read the hardwiring of a system before anyone names it, and a practice of working systematically to create change that lasts.
I don't deliver a solution and leave. I stay with the team inside their real work — and build the muscle so they can eventually do it without me.
